MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORs

amber o’rayeh - Owner/director

I am Amber O’Rayeh. I spent most of my childhood dancing, competing in national events, and performing at places like the Rose Bowl. I also danced at UNR during college. Since 2011, I have been an English teacher for Elko County School District after earning my bachelor’s in education from Great Basin College. I received my master’s in curriculum and instruction from Grand Canyon University in 2013 and am currently completing my doctoral dissertation in educational organization and transformation. While living in Reno and attending UNR in the early 2000s, I taught dance classes at Teddy Bear Dancers, which inspired me to start a similar company in Elko. As the creator, director, and choreographer of Tiny Twirlers Mobile Dance Company, I will hire and train others who have dance experience and enjoy working with children to ensure the best experience possible for all of those involved in the program.

“Dance is the hidden language of the soul.”

- Martha Graham
